- I have similar problem with my ISP which uses Motorola modems. I have
- new P133 and use using US Robotics external modem and I cannot get
- **consistent** (that is to say, I can hardly ever log in) log-ins
- using W'95 Dial Up networking. Modem handshakes,
- but then (after 30 second delay) message comes on to the effect:
-
- ôCannot connect with network server; check configuration.ö
-
- This is very curious because at other times (for example **early** in
- the morning) using same exact computer and software setup, I can log
- in just fine.
-
- I am using the Windows 95 Dial Up networking and have been through
- the Internet setup process using the Internet Wizard several times.
- All of the PPP addresses are set as instructed by my internet
- provider.
-
- Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could adjust my configuration??
- I believe my Sportster is the problem. I tried a Cardinal 28.8 modem
- and it works just fine. Any ideas out there??
-
