  42. I have similar problem with my ISP which uses Motorola modems.  I have
  43. new P133 and use using US Robotics external modem and  I cannot get
  44. **consistent** (that is to say, I can hardly ever log in)  log-ins
  45. using W'95 Dial Up networking.  Modem handshakes,
  46. but then (after 30 second delay) message comes on to the effect:

  50. This is very curious because at other times (for example **early** in
  51. the morning) using same exact computer and software setup, I can log
  52. in just fine.

  54.  I am using the Windows 95 Dial Up networking and have been through
  55. the Internet setup process using the Internet Wizard several times.
  56. All of the PPP addresses are set as instructed by my internet
  57. provider.

  59. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could adjust my configuration??
  60. I believe my Sportster is the problem.  I tried a Cardinal 28.8 modem
  61. and it works just fine.  Any ideas out there??
